About Tour
Join Capt. Dave for a private charter on the St. Johns River & saltmarsh. Aboard the 20′ Jettywolf, a 2025 custom built inshore shallow draft bay boat. Targeting inshore species such as; Redfish, Seatrout, Black Drum, with seasonal opportunities for additional species. All per the tides, which are every 6 hours. Fishing methods may include bottom fishing, casting jig heads, or drifting slip floats using live, natural, and artificial baits. All rods, reels, tackle, coolers, ice, safety equipment & Licensing are included. Guests only need to bring a grocery bag with drinks, and a snack and dress accordingly, per the weather. PLEASE ONLY WEAR SNEAKERS. NO WORK BOOTS, OR HARD SOLED SHOES. OPEN TOED SANDLES, ARE NOT RECCOMENDED.
Fish cleaning; filleting, skinning, & bagging, done on a ‘Gratuity basis”, after your day is over, and boat is loaded on trailer.
*Participants must be mobile and able to stand, and move about the boat. *Ability to cast spinning tackle is a must for the best fishing results.

What is included in the 6-hour charter, and what should we bring?
Your private 2-person trip in Jacksonville includes everything needed for a successful day on the water — rods, reels, tackle, bait (live, natural, and artificial), coolers, ice, safety equipment, and fishing licenses. You’ll fish the St. Johns River and surrounding salt marsh aboard a custom 20′ Jettywolf bay boat.
Guests only need to bring drinks, snacks, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate clothing. Sneakers are required (no boots or hard-soled shoes). Open-toed sandals are not recommended.
Do I need prior fishing experience to book this trip?
Basic experience is recommended. Participants must be mobile, able to stand and move safely around the boat, and capable of casting spinning tackle for the best fishing results. Capt. Dave will guide you through techniques such as bottom fishing, casting jig heads, and drifting slip floats, all timed with the tides to target Redfish, Seatrout, Black Drum, and seasonal species.

Such a fun & relaxing adventure

We had such a relaxing morning fishing in the salt marsh. The Jettywolf boat is perfect for inshore fishing, and Capt. Dave was very helpful with casting and bait techniques. We even got our fish cleaned and bagged right on the boat. Highly recommend this charter for anyone wanting a private fishing experience in Jacksonville.
