Urban Sherpa Travel

I’ve been using Urban Sherpa for many years. Always organized and consistently going up to the Catskills almost every day of the week. I tried a couple of midweek trips last year and it was great! Hunter and Windham were pretty empty during the week so I felt I had the whole place to myself. No frills, just consistent and straightforward. Get on, drop us off, get back to the bus at the end of the day and I’m back in Manhattan by about dinner time. I have been on some trips where there were issues with the weather or mechanical but they weren’t anyone’s fault as these were unforeseen. I can imagine things like this happen when you run so many trips a week. They have always been fair and polite to me.

I’ve used this company many times throughout the winter season to go skiing in the Catskills. Never had a problem. Always leaves on time, and picks up on time. Buses are clean, and the leaders are always nice and helpful.

Used Urban Sherpa for a day return trip to Hunter mountain. Communication was superb. Bus arrived on time and at the designated place. The driver and Paul were both excellent on the day as was David who kept me up to date via email.

This is a no frills, smoothe operation that works perfectly….one happy customer here.

I am so thankful for UrbanSherpaTravels! We had a horrible experience with NYC Snow Bus for approximately 8 family members and myself. NYC Snow Bus Company was rude and not compassionate. In fact, they left a family member behind as we were asking them to stop and wait for a couple of minutes so he can locate and get on the bus with us. We were forced to make a decision to leave our family member behind or get off the bus. We got off the bus.

UrbanSherpatravels was so HELPFUL and compassionate. They were understanding and welcoming. They reassured our group that there was enough room and we will comfortably get back to NYC. After such a long day dealing with a horrible company (NYC SNOW BUS) we were finally able to say UrbanSherpaTravels was the best part of our day. They were reliable and reasonable. Their staff was personable and showed interest in the safety of their customers. They communicated in a timely fashion and got us back to NYC with no issues.

I will definitely recommend this company to anyone interested in going skiing.

amazing trips and super professional trip leaders. Our leader was short and sweet on the mic at 6am and gave great tips about the ski area. Also Urban Sherpa was the first bus company to arrive at Hunter, this made getting our rentals much quicker.
